This was the "Soupy Sales Telethon" sponsored by Detroit Blue Cross and Blue Shield raising money for muscular dystrophy an American comedian, actor, radio-television personality and jazz aficionado. best known for a children's television series, Lunch with Soupy Sales later titled The Soupy Sales Show.

Art projects sometimes become so involved and exciting; that you work 24/7.  Having four hours of sleep during five days that it took to construct and paint this project, was very rewarding.
